  "long_title": "The Churches Conservation Trust has as its object the preservation, in the interests of the nation and the Church of England, of churches and parts of churches of historic and archaeological interest or architectural quality, together with their contents, which are vested in the Trust by Part III of the Pastoral Measure 1983 (1983 No. 1). The Pastoral Measure 1983 was amended by the Pastoral (Amendment) Measure 1994 (1994 No. 1) which, amongst other things, changed the name of the Redundant Churches Fund to the Churches Conservation Trust. The Pastoral Measure 1968 (1968 No. 1) originally established the Redundant Churches Fund but it was repealed by the Pastoral Measure 1983, provisions of which provided for the continuation and operation of the Redundant Churches Fund.",
