  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order amends the Greater London Authority Act 1999 (“the Act”).\nIt amends section 31 of the Act to allow the Authority to incur expenditure on providing services or facilities promoting improvements in, or protecting, public health to further one or more of the principal purposes of the Authority, and which the Authority considers appropriate for improving the health of people in Greater London.\nAn impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.",
