  "text": "As respects Authority elections the maximum amounts of the sums which may be paid and the expenses which may be incurred by a candidate or his election agent shall be as follows—\n(a) £420,000 for a candidate in an election of the Mayor of London;\n(b) £35,000 for a candidate in an election of a constituency member of the London Assembly;\n(c) £330,000 for an individual candidate in an election of the London members of the London Assembly at an ordinary election;\n(d) £330,000 for the purposes of section 76(1A) of the Representation of the People Act 1983 (expenses of candidates to be London Members of the London Assembly on a list submitted by a registered political party).",
