# The Greater Manchester Combined Authority (Functions and Amendment) Order 2017, Article 6: Incidental provisions


Section 5 of the 1989 Act (designation and reports of monitoring officer) applies in relation to the GMCA as if a Corporation were a committee of the GMCA.
