# The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2024, Article 41: Regulation 12 amended (cost containment mechanism)


(1) Regulation 12 is amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph (1)(b)—
(a) omit paragraph (iv);
(b) in paragraph (v) for “up to 28,081,237 allowances” substitute “allowances from the flexible reserve provided for in article 23A of the Trading Scheme Order”.
(3) Omit paragraphs (1A) to (1D).
