Regulation 5 Trial

The duty under section 2 of the Act does not apply to Help-to-Save accounts opened before 16th October 2018 unless the individual opening the account is an eligible person taking part in the trial.

For the purposes of this regulation “the trial” means a test of all the systems required to deliver Help-to-Save accounts, which will run from the date of the coming into force of these Regulations to 15th October 2018.
