Regulation 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

These Regulations may be cited as the Human Tissue (Authorisation) (Specified Type B Procedures) (Scotland) Regulations 2021 and come into force on the day on which section 23 of the Human Tissue (Authorisation) (Scotland) Act 2019^f1 comes into force for all purposes.

In these Regulations—

• “the 2006 Act” means the Human Tissue (Scotland) Act 2006,

• “relevant time” has the same meaning as in section 16K(2) of the 2006 Act.
