  "text": "(1) A person who applies for—\n(a) entry clearance of a type mentioned in section 38(2)(b) or (c) of the 2014 Act, or\n(b) leave to remain in the United Kingdom for a limited period,\nmust pay a charge to the Secretary of State, subject to article 7.\n(2) A person is required by paragraph (1) to pay a separate charge in respect of each application made by the person.",
