# The Infected Blood Compensation Scheme Regulations 2025, Regulation 9: Continuation of the IBCS


(1) The infected blood compensation scheme for the making of payments in relation to eligible persons which was established in accordance with regulation 3(1) of the Infected Blood Compensation Scheme Regulations 2024 is continued and expanded in accordance with these Regulations.
(2) Payments under the IBCS must continue to be made, and the IBCS must otherwise continue to be administered, by the IBCA.
