Regulation 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

These Regulations may be cited as the Jobseeker’s Allowance (Sanctions) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 and shall come into force on 22nd October 2012.

In these Regulations—

• “the Act” means the Jobseekers Act 1995;

• “the JSA Regulations” means the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations 1996^f1.
