Regulation 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

These Regulations may be cited as the Judicial Pensions (Amendment) Regulations 2017.

Save as provided by paragraph (3), these Regulations come into force on 1st April 2017 or, if later, the day after the day on which they are made.

Regulations 1, 2(1) and (2), 4, 5(b), 6, 15, 16 and 17(2)(b), (5) and (6) come into force on the day after the day on which these Regulations are made.

In these Regulations—

• “the 2015 Regulations” means the Judicial Pensions Regulations 2015^f1;

• “the 2017 Regulations” means the Judicial Pensions (Fee-Paid Judges) Regulations 2017^f2.
