  "text": "(1) A local authority must notify a person who applies for kinship care assistance described in article 7 of that local authority’s decision, and the reasons for that decision, as soon as reasonably practicable.\n(2) Notice under paragraph (1) which relates to a payment must include, where applicable—\n(a) the method of determination of the amount;\n(b) where kinship care assistance is to be paid by instalments—\n(i) the amount of each instalment;\n(ii) the frequency of the payment;\n(iii) the period for which kinship care assistance is to be paid; and\n(iv) the date of the first payment;\n(c) where kinship care assistance is to be paid as a single payment, the amount and the date the payment is to be made.",
