# The Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 (Modification) Order 2013, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Order laid before the Scottish Parliament under section 98(5) of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 for approval by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.

Coming into force in accordance with article 1
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 8(3) of that Act, they have consulted such persons (and associations representing such persons) whom they consider to have a particular interest in the effect of the Order and such other persons as they think fit.
In accordance with section 98(5) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
