  "text": "(1) The Judicial Appointments Order 2008 is amended as follows.\n(2) In article 2—\n(a) for the definition of “registered patent agent” substitute—\n““registered patent attorney” has the meaning assigned to it by section 275 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988;”; and\n(b) for the definition of “registered trade mark agent” substitute—\n““registered trade mark attorney” has the meaning assigned to it by section 83 of the Trade Marks Act 1994;”.\n(3) In article 5—\n(a) in paragraph (b) for “agent” substitute “attorney”; and\n(b) in paragraph (c) for “agent” substitute “attorney”.\n(4) In article 6—\n(a) in paragraph (b)—\n(i) for “agent” substitute “attorney”,\n(ii) for “agents” substitute “attorneys”, and\n(iii) for “the Register of Patent Agents Rules 1990” substitute “section 275 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988”; and\n(b) in paragraph (c)—\n(i) for “agent” substitute “attorney”,\n(ii) for “agents” substitute “attorneys”, and\n(iii) for “the Register of Trade Mark Agents Rules 1990” substitute “section 83 of the Trade Marks Act 1994”.\n(5) In article 8 for “agent” (in both places) substitute “attorney”.",
