# The Letting Agent Code of Practice (Scotland) Regulations 2016, Paragraph 97: Bringing the tenancy to an end


The correct procedure for ending a tenancy depends on such factors as the type of tenancy and the reason it is ending. But in all circumstances you must comply with relevant tenancy law and ensure you follow appropriate legal procedures when seeking to end a tenancy.
