  "heading": "Duration of permit",
  "text": "(1) A permit is to continue to have effect unless and until it ceases to have effect in accordance with a provision of these Regulations.\n(2) A permit ceases to have effect if–\n(a) a relevant alcohol licence ceases to have effect with respect to the premises to which it relates; or\n(b) the permit holder ceases to be the holder of a relevant alcohol licence.\n(3) A permit ceases to have effect if the permit holder gives to the Licensing Board–\n(a) notice of surrender; and\n(b) either–\n(i) the permit; or\n(ii) a statement explaining why it is not reasonably practicable to produce the permit.",
