  "text": "Rule 60 (retention of documents) applies as if—\n(a) in paragraph (1), for “to which rule 58 applies” there were substituted “forwarded to him in pursuance of rule 58(3)”; and\n(b) after paragraph (1) there were inserted—\n“(1A) The returning officer shall retain for 12 months the documents mentioned in rule 58(5) and then, unless otherwise directed by an order under rule 59, shall cause them to be destroyed.”.",
