Paragraph 23 Modification of the Local Elections Rules

(1)

The Appendix of Forms applies as if—

(a)

in Form 3 (ballot paper)^f1, on the front of the ballot paper, at the top of that form there were inserted the heading “Local Council Election”;

(b)

in Form 4 (directions as to printing the ballot paper)^f2, in paragraph 2(a), after “apart from” there were inserted “the heading “Local Council Election” at the top of the ballot paper and”; and

(c)

after Form 5 (declaration of identity)^f3 there were inserted—

“Declaration of Identity (combined polls) (rule 21)

(for use when a local poll is to be combined with a European Parliamentary poll)
