# Local Government (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) Order 1998, Article 3: Repeal of prohibition on unauthorised camping in designated districts


(1) The following provisions of the 1985 Order are hereby repealed, namely—
(a) Article 9 (prohibition of unauthorised camping in designated districts);
(b) Article 10 (orders for removal of unlawfully parked caravans and their occupants);
(c) the definition of “road” in Article 11.
(2) For the definition of “caravan” and “caravan site” in Article 11 of the 1985 Order there shall be substituted—
““caravan site” has the same meaning as in the 1963 c. 17 (N.I.).Caravans Act (Northern Ireland) 1963;”.
