  "text": "This draft Statutory Instrument supersedes the draft of the same title which was laid before Parliament and published on 15 October 2020 (ISBN 978-0-348-21380-5). It is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that draft Statutory Instrument.\nDraft Regulations laid before Parliament under paragraphs 1(1) and 8F(1) of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.\nExiting The European Union\nConsumer Protection\nMade ***\nComing into force in accordance with regulation 1(2) and (3)\nThe Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8(1) and 8C of, paragraphs 1(1)(ab) and 7(2) of Schedule 4, and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 and section 41(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal Agreement) Act 2020.\nA draft of this instrument has been approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament, in accordance with paragraphs 1(1) and 8F(1) of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.\nThe Treasury has consented to the making of these Regulations as required by paragraphs 3(1) and 10 of Schedule 4 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.",
