Draft Regulations laid before Parliament under section 22(1)(b) and (d) of the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (c. 18), for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(1)(b) and (4)(b), (c) and (d), 5(3)(a), (4)(a), (b), (c) and (e), (7)(a), (8) and (9), 7(1), (4)(d), (g), (j), (k) and (l) and (5), 8(1) to (11) and (13), 10, 18, 19 and 21(1) of the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025^f1.

In deciding to make these Regulations, the Secretary of State has had regard to the matters mentioned in section 4(5) of that Act.

The Secretary of State has carried out the consultation required by section 22(3) of that Act before making these Regulations.

In accordance with section 22(1)(b) and (d) of that Act^f2, a draft of these Regulations was laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
