# The Mutual Societies (Transfers) Order 2009, Article 5: The transfer resolution


Paragraph 30 of Schedule 2 to the 1986 Act (transfer resolutions) applies in relation to a relevant transfer with the following modifications—
(a) in sub-paragraph (1)(b), for “(“the requisite shareholders’ resolution”) is passed in accordance with sub-paragraphs (2) to (5) below”, substitute “is passed as a shareholding members’ resolution”;
(b) omit sub-paragraphs (2) to (8).
