  "text": "On 1st April 2009—\n(a) the following local government areas shall be abolished—\n(i) the borough of Berwick-upon-Tweed,\n(ii) the borough of Blyth Valley,\n(iii) the borough of Castle Morpeth,\n(iv) the district of Alnwick,\n(v) the district of Tynedale, and\n(vi) the district of Wansbeck; and\n(b) the following councils shall be wound up and dissolved—\n(i) Berwick-upon-Tweed Borough Council,\n(ii) Blyth Valley Borough Council,\n(iii) Castle Morpeth Borough Council,\n(iv) Alnwick District Council,\n(v) Tynedale District Council, and\n(vi) Wansbeck District Council.",
