# The Nuclear Safeguards (EU Exit) Regulations 2018, Regulation 34: Qualifying nuclear facilities which are used partly for civil activities


(1) These Regulations do not apply to anything done for defence purposes within the meaning of section 70 of the Energy Act 2013.
(2) Notwithstanding paragraph (1), these Regulations apply to qualifying nuclear material which is used in civil activities when that material is in a qualifying nuclear facility which is partly used for civil activities.
