  "text": "This Statutory Instrument supersedes the draft of the same title which was laid before Parliament and published on 8th May 2018 (ISBN 978-0-11-116926-1). It is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.\nDraft Regulations laid before Parliament under section 42(4) of the Pension Schemes Act 2017 for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.\nPensions\nMade ***\nComing into force in accordance with regulation 1\nThe Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(3)(b), 4(5), 7(3)(b) and (4)(a), 8(4), 9(2), 10(4), (6) and (7)(b), 11(2), 12(5) and (6), 15(2), 16(3), 17(3)(a), 18(5)(a), 22(6)(b) and (7), 24(1)(b), (3), (4)(a) and (c) and (5), 25(4), 26(5), 27(4) and (6), 28(2), 30(2) and (4)(b) and (c), 33(4), 36(1), 38(2) and (3), 39(5), 40(1) and (2) and 42(2) of, and paragraphs 1(6) of Schedule 1 and 5(c) of Schedule 2 to, the Pension Schemes Act 2017.\nA draft of these Regulations has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with section 42(4) of the Pension Schemes Act 2017.\nThe Secretary of State has exercised her discretion under section 42(5) of the Pension Schemes Act 2017 to make regulations subject to affirmative resolution procedure which would otherwise be subject to negative resolution procedure.",
