# The Official Controls (Amendment) Regulations 2024, Regulation 34: Amendments to Commission Regulation (EC) 798/2008


(1) Commission Regulation (EC) No 798/2008 laying down a list of third countries, territories, zones or compartments from which poultry and poultry products may be imported into and transit through the Community and the veterinary certification requirements is amended as follows.
(2) In Article 2(23) (definitions) for “set out in the list headed “Additional guarantees (AG) in Part 2 of Annex 1” substitute “required in a document published by the Secretary of State, with the consent of the Scottish Ministers (in relation to Scotland) and the Welsh Ministers (in relation to Wales), under Article 5”.
(3) In Article 5 (conditions for imports and transit)—
(a) in paragraph 1—
(i) in point (c) omit “set out in the list headed “Specific conditions” in Part 2 of Annex 1”;
(ii) in point (d) omit “subject to paragraph 3,”;
(b) omit paragraph 3.
(4) In Annex 1—
(a) in Part 1, in the table, omit the table notes;
(b) omit Part 2.
