Regulation 15 Provision of information to the Secretary of State

(1)

The operator shall forthwith provide the Secretary of State with details of any incident or accident involving an offshore chemical—

(a)

where there has been a breach of the permit or any of its conditions; or

(b)

where there has been, or may be, any significant effect on the environment.

(2)

For the purposes of this regulation “effect” includes any direct, indirect, secondary, cumulative, short, medium or long-term, permanent or temporary, or positive or negative effect.
