# The Opticians Act 1989 (Amendment) Order 2005, Article 3: Functions of the Council


In section 1 (constitution and functions of the Council), in subsection (2), for the words “professional education and professional conduct among opticians” substitute “professional education, conduct and performance among registrants”.
