Regulation 3 Commission Regulation (EC) No 889/2008

Commission Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control^f1 is amended as follows.

In Article 2, after point (w) insert—

“(x)
‘Article 3 list’ means the list of control bodies and control authorities for the purpose of compliance and relevant specifications referred to in Article 3 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1235/2008^f2;

(y)
‘Article 7 list’ means the list of third countries and relevant specifications referred to in Article 7 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1235/2008;

(z)
‘Article 10 list’ means the list of control bodies and control authorities for the purpose of equivalence and relevant specifications referred to in Article 10 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1235/2008.”.

In Annex 11, in Part B, paragraph 3(b)—

(a)

in point (i), for “Annex I to that Regulation” substitute “the Article 3 list”;

(b)

in point (ii), for “Annex III to that Regulation” substitute “the Article 7 list”;

(c)

in point (iii), for “Annex IV to that Regulation” substitute “the Article 10 list”.
