Explanatory note

The Order provides for a transfer scheme for those staff who will move from employment by the House of Commons Commission to the IPSA (the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority). These are staff employed in connection with the administration of the pay and allowances of Members of Parliament and their staff, which in future will be dealt with by the IPSA. The terms of the transfer scheme are set out in the Schedule to this Order.

A full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
