# The Paternity Leave (Amendment) Regulations 2024, Regulation 9


In regulation 5 (options in respect of leave under regulation 4)—
(a) for paragraph (1) substitute—
“(1) An employee may choose to take either—
(a) a single period of leave of either one week or two weeks, or
(b) two non-consecutive periods of leave of a week each
in respect of a child under regulation 4.”;
(b) in paragraph (2), for “56 days”, in both places those words occur substitute “52 weeks”.
