Article 2 Revocation and transitional provisions

(1)

Subject to paragraph (2), the following are revoked—

(a)

the Police Appeals Tribunals Rules 1999^f1, and

(b)

paragraph 19 of the Schedule to the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Consequential and Supplementary Amendments to Secondary Legislation) Order 2006^f2.

(2)

In relation to an appeal under section 85 of the 1996 Act against a decision made in accordance with the Police (Efficiency) Regulations 1999^f3 or the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2004^f4, nothing in these Rules shall have effect and the provisions mentioned in paragraph (1) shall continue to have effect.
