# The Police Appeals Tribunals Rules 2008, Article 8: The respondent


(1) Where the appellant is a senior officer, the respondent shall be a person designated by the relevant police authority.
(2) Where the appellant is any other police officer, the respondent shall be the chief officer of police of the relevant police force.
