  "text": "(1) The existing wards of the city of Preston are abolished.\n(2) The city of Preston is divided into 16 wards as follows—\n(a) Ashton;\n(b) Brookfield;\n(c) Cadley;\n(d) City Centre;\n(e) Deepdale;\n(f) Fishwick & Frenchwood;\n(g) Garrison;\n(h) Greyfriars;\n(i) Ingol & Cottam;\n(j) Lea & Larches;\n(k) Plungington;\n(l) Preston Rural East;\n(m) Preston Rural North;\n(n) Ribbleton;\n(o) Sharoe Green;\n(p) St Matthew’s.\n(3) Each ward comprises the area identified on the map by reference to the name of the ward.\n(4) Three councillors are to be elected for each ward.",
