# The Private Rented Sector Database Regulations 2026, Regulation 3: Amendment of the Renters’ Rights Act 2025


In section 63 of the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 (meaning of “residential landlord”), after subsection (3) insert—
“(3A) But, for the purposes of Chapter 3, “relevant tenancy” does not include any tenancy of supported exempt accommodation within the meaning of section 12 of the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act 2023.”.
