# The Private Rented Sector Database Regulations 2026, Regulation 8: Requirement to update active landlord entries


Where any of the information or documents contained in an active landlord entry for a person who is a residential landlord becomes out of date, the entry must be updated before the end of the period of 28 days beginning with the day the information or documents became out of date.
