# The Procurement Regulations 2024, Regulation 46: Defence authorities


For the purposes of section 7(5) of the PA 2023, each of the following contracting authorities is a defence authority—
(a) the Secretary of State for Defence;
(b) AWE PLC;
(c) the National Crime Agency;
(d) the Oil and Pipelines Agency.
