# The Pubs Code etc. Regulations 2016, Paragraph 4: The type of tenancy or licence


Whether the tenancy offered by the pub-owning business is a tenancy to which Part 2 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 applies and the process for the renewal of such a tenancy, or any other tenancy, including when notification to renew, or otherwise, must be given.
