Article 2 Interpretation

The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 (c. 33) applies to this Order as it applies to an Act of the Assembly.

(2)

In this Order—

  • “the Department” means the Department of Finance and Personnel;

  • “modify” has the meaning given by Article 2(2) of the principal Order;

  • “the principal Order” means the Rates (Northern Ireland) Order 1977 (NI 28).
