# The Registered Foreign Lawyers Order 2009, Article 4: Solicitors Act 1974


The power to make regulations under section 28 of the 1974 Act, so far as that power relates to the matters mentioned in subsection (3B)(k) of that section, has effect with respect to registered foreign lawyers as it has effect with respect to solicitors, except that the reference in paragraph (k) to practising certificates is to be read as a reference to registration in the register of foreign lawyers.
