  "text": "Draft Regulations laid before Parliament under section 5(7) of the Civil Partnerships, Marriages and Deaths (Registration etc) Act 2019 and section 5(7) of the Immigration and Social Security Co-ordination (EU Withdrawal) Act 2020, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.\nExiting The European Union\nImmigration\nMarriage\nMade 2021\nComing into force in accordance with regulation 1\nThe Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1 and 5(1), (4) and (5) of the Civil Partnerships, Marriages and Deaths (Registration etc) Act 2019 and section 5 of the Immigration and Social Security Co-ordination (EU Withdrawal) Act 2020.\nIn accordance with section 5(7) of the Civil Partnerships, Marriages and Deaths (Registration etc) Act 2019 and section 5(7) of the Immigration and Social Security Co-ordination (EU Withdrawal) Act 2020, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.\nThe Secretary of State is satisfied for the purposes of section 1(6) of the Civil Partnerships, Marriages and Deaths (Registration etc) Act 2019 that these are the first Regulations to be made under section 1 of that Act.",
