# The Registration of Marriages Regulations 2021, Paragraph 18: Amendment of Part 3 of the 1949 Act (marriage under superintendent registrar’s certificate)


In section 28A(2) of the 1949 Act (power to require evidence of consent to marriages of same sex couples), for paragraph (b) substitute—
“(b) before a marriage schedule is issued.”.
