  "text": "(1) Section 67 of the 1949 Act (interpretation of Part 4) is amended as follows.\n(2) For the definition of “incumbent” substitute—\n““incumbent” means the rector, vicar or curate in charge of a church or chapel in which marriages may be solemnized according to the rites of the Church of England;”.\n(3) Omit the definition of “registering officer of the Society of Friends”.\n(4) Insert the following definition at the appropriate place—\n““specified person” has the meaning assigned to it by section 53C(8);”.\n(5) Omit the definition of “superintendent registrar”.",
