# The Registration of Marriages Regulations 2021, Paragraph 41: Amendment of Part 5 of the 1949 Act (marriages in naval, military, and air force chapels)


(1) Section 69 of the 1949 Act (licensing of chapels for marriages according to rites of Church of England) is amended as follows.
(2) In subsection (4), for “registering marriages solemnized” substitute “solemnizing marriages”.
(3) In subsection (5), for “registration” substitute “solemnization”.
