Paragraph 5 Amendment of Part 2 of the 1949 Act (marriage according to the rites of the Church of England)

In section 17 of the 1949 Act (marriage under superintendent registrar’s certificate)^f1—

(a)

in the heading for “superintendent registrar’s certificate” substitute “marriage schedule”;

(b)

for “certificates of a superintendent registrar” substitute “a marriage schedule”;

(c)

for “and certificates” substitute “and (if so specified) in the marriage schedule”.
