# The Registration of Marriages Regulations 2021, Paragraph 50: Amendment of the Perjury Act 1911


(1) Section 3 of the Perjury Act 1911 (false statements, etc, with reference to marriage) is amended as follows.
(2) In subsection (1)(a), after “licence for marriage,” insert “or a marriage document or a marriage schedule,”.
(3) In subsection (1)(c), after “licence for marriage” insert “or marriage schedule”.
