  "text": "After regulation 8 insert—\n“Eligible installations generating heat using air source heat pumps\n8A. This regulation applies if the plant complies with all of the following requirements—\n(a) it is an air source heat pump;\n(b) in the case of a plant with an installation capacity of 45kWth or less, the plant meets the requirements in regulation 13;\n(c) it has a coefficient of performance of at least 2.9;\n(d) it has been designed and installed to operate with a seasonal performance factor of at least 2.5;\n(e) it is not designed to provide cooling; and\n(f) it is not designed to use heat in air which has been expelled—\n(i) from a building; or\n(ii) directly from a process which generates heat.”.",
