Lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions are to be calculated as follows—

(a)

where heat and power are generated from solid biomass or biogas, the following formula must be used—

(b)

where heat (and not heat and power) is generated from solid biomass or biogas, the following formula must be used—

\frac{E}{η h}

(c)

where biomethane is produced from biogas, lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions must be E.
