# The Renewables Obligation (Scotland) Amendment Order 2026, Article 3: Amendment to article 42 - interpretation


In article 42(1) after the definition of “compliant United Kingdom supplier” insert—
““consumer prices index” means—
(a) the consumer prices index calculated and published by the Statistics Board, or
(b) where the index is not published for a month, any substituted index or figures published by the Statistics Board,”.
