# The Road Safety Act 2006 (Consequential Amendments) Order 2015, Paragraph 5: The Crime (Sentences) Act 1997


Section 40 (fine defaulters) of the Crime (Sentences) Act 1997 is amended as follows—
(a) in subsection (6) omit the words “together with its counterpart”;
(b) in subsection (7) omit the definition of “counterpart”.
